Hill Hauler puts you behind the wheel of a big-wheeled pickup on rolling tracks through meadows, canyons, snowy peaks and sunset hills. Your goal on each track is to reach the finish flag. The truck has springy suspension and real weight, so it bounces over bumps, leans on slopes and can tip right over if you are careless.
The gas pedal pushes you forward but also lifts the front, and the brake slows you down and tips the nose forward. In the air the same two pedals rotate the truck, which is how you line up a clean landing after a jump. Land on the roof and the run is over.
Fuel runs down while you accelerate, so pick up the red fuel cans along the way. Coins are scattered over the hills, and collecting most of them on a quick run earns all three stars.
