Core Ball is about as simple as a game can be, and that is exactly why it is hard to put down. A core spins in the middle of the screen. Each tap fires a ball up to stick to it. You need to place every ball in the level without two of them colliding.
At first there is plenty of room. As more balls are attached the gaps shrink, and the core may speed up, slow down or change direction. Success comes from watching the rhythm rather than tapping as fast as you can. A single collision sends you back to the start of the level.
The clean black-and-white look keeps the focus on timing, and levels take only seconds, which makes it ideal for a quick reflex warm-up.
